Strategic Assessments
Submitting for preliminary review is free. Any paid assessment requires a separate written agreement on scope and fees.
Final scope, timing, and availability are confirmed after a preliminary conflicts and fit review.
Basic Strategic Assessment
For a discrete, contained matter requiring direction before one decision or communication.
Choose this when:
- The matter is discrete and contained.
- You need direction before one decision or communication.
- Selected materials total no more than 25 pages.
- No meeting, deadline, or accelerated response is imminent.
Includes:
- Review of up to 25 pages of selected materials
- One 60-minute strategy session
- Identification of immediate risks, leverage, and available options
- Concise written recommendation
Fee: $1,500
Standard Strategic Assessment
For serious matters requiring a fuller assessment of facts, leverage, risk, positioning, and next steps.
Choose this when:
- Multiple facts, decision-makers, or strategic considerations are involved.
- You need pre-suit positioning, negotiation planning, or a substantive written assessment.
- Selected materials total no more than 50 pages.
- The matter does not require accelerated treatment.
Includes:
- Review of up to 50 pages of selected materials
- One 90-minute strategy session
- Assessment of risk, leverage, decision-makers, and positioning
- Written strategic assessment memorandum
Fee: $3,500
Priority Strategic Assessment
For an urgent matter requiring accelerated clarity before a high-risk meeting, response, negotiation, or decision.
Choose this when:
- A deadline, meeting, negotiation, or decision is imminent.
- Delay may materially affect leverage or exposure.
- Selected materials total no more than 100 pages.
- You need an immediate action plan and a follow-up session.
Includes:
- Accelerated review of up to 100 pages of selected materials
- One 90-minute priority strategy session
- One 30-minute follow-up session
- Immediate risk, leverage, and sequencing analysis
- Written action memorandum
Fee: $5,000–$7,500

What Happens Next

I begin work after you accept the engagement and complete the payment arrangements.
